Rebecca, Silvia & Rosa - The Printable Collection by Morning Dewdrops

Rebecca, Silvia & Rosa - The Printable Collection by Morning Dewdrops

Meet Rebecca, Silvia and Rosa.  Each pretty lady is now available in our Printable Collection and exclusive to Morning Dewdrops.  I hand-painted each of them for your personal use, but a Limited Commercial License Agreement is also included.  IT'S A MUST READ and a WIN, WIN!  The license agreement comes as part of the download.

Want some inspiration? - Check out the Images at the end of this blog.

I worked in small and large handmade journals and it's so nice to have multiple sizes of these ladies in the downloadable PDF.

Reels and Shorts will also be posted soon on Instagram, Facebook & YouTube.

This is Rebecca.  She is painted with DIY Paint and charcoal.

Rebecca is charming, dressed in a sweeping gown of soft, misty blues and greys.  Her skirt drifts in layered tiers of chiffon that feel almost weightless. She's pinned a corsage to her waist while placing a few flowers in her hair.  She gathers beauty and lets no one in her circle who negates her worth. Rebecca is effortlessly graceful, somewhat romantic and never overlooks small things.  In a world of Morning Dewdrops, she brings a calmness, stays in the moment, but also dreams.

This is Silvia.  She is painted with DIY Paint.  The texture of Silvia's dress was created by using the Gelli Plate and DIY Paint onto transparent papers.  Some of the papers were collaged in torn pieces.

Silvia is elegant, watchful and full of mystery.  Her gown hides her in the woodlands in a mix of tangled green patterns.  Does she talk to the fairies along mossy paths and hidden glens?  With her copper hair twisted up, she's quite enchanting.  Silvia is a guardian of nature and creativity.   BUT most of all Silvia is kind, I painted her as part of Shakespeare's, The Two Gentlemen from Verona, for she's fair in beauty, but is also kind.

This is Rosa. She is painted with DIY Paint and charcoal.

Rosa has a quiet confidence, the kind that blooms only when someone feels completely at home in their own skin. She moves like a whispered melody across the page in a silk embroidered gown.  Has Rosa been dancing barefoot at midnight and who put those flowers in her hair?  Because she's not posing, but simply pausing.  Rosa is somewhat a mystery of reflection, the keeper of her story.

Here are some inspirational ideas of how to create with these ladies in your art journaling, junk journaling, mixed media, wall art or textile art, etc.

I visited England this summer and was inspired by their love of tea.  I created a hand-made art journal with the theme of Tea Darlings Are Snobs. They bring their own teabags.

The Carolina Tea Room is a perfect setting for Silvia and she's carrying her own teabag.  The teacup with the flowers are also part of The Printable Collection by Morning Dewdrops. The Collection is called Blooms In Gouache-1.  Silvia is standing, but her teabag is swinging and the teacup is glued down, so the flowers can be changed!

I'm a true DIY Paint Mixologist and created a recipe to make DIY Paint into a Gouache (but it is not necessary).  However, let me know if you want the recipe.

Rebecca is standing in a watercolor flower and green garden.  I painted the background with DIY Paint and also used some pressed flowers.  The flowers in the China teacup can also be changed and these flowers are from the Blooms In Watercolor Printable Collection.

Rosa is carrying her teabag and is resting in a China teacup, but she can come out and play among the blue hydrangeas.  I placed her in a bed of blue hydrangeas painted with DIY Paint.  I used a Gelli Plate for some of the background colors and the textured transparent paper in the upper-righthand corner was collaged in and created with a stencil and DIY Paint White Swan mixed with DIY Paint Frosting (a thickening agent).

Rebecca is resting in her teacup surrounded by a flowers and leaves watercolor background.  I used a lot of water with DIY Paint and let the background colors spread into each other.   The black polka-dotted teacup is from the Teacups Patterns Printable Collection.  Rebecca can roam around the garden if she likes and the flowers can be changed or rearranged to her liking. The flowers are from the Blooms In Gouache-1 Printable Collection.  All painted with DIY Paint.

Please let me know what you think of our new Printable Collection by Morning Dewdrops.  We've been working for months to get it up for you with exclusive paintings and inspiration ideas.

More To Come! - Thanks Terri
