JRV Stencils are made in America and designed by Jami Ray Vintage. JRV Stencils also collaborates with Designs by Vintage Retail Therapy by Mara for JRV Stencils. JRV Stencils are 15 mils thick compared to other stencils at 4-8 mils thick. Even customed stencils are usually only 10-12 mils thick. With JRV Stencils, you can create raised stencil with textured mediums & not damage the stencil.
In addition, DIY Paint is an excellent paint to use with JRV Stencils because it makes clean up easy. All you need is water and dishwashing liquid. No plastic film is left behind to scrub off the stencil because DIY Paint contains no acrylic or binding agents.
JRV Decoupage Sheets - The paper is 30" x 20" and made from 18# paper versus 6# to 10# paper. The 18# JRV Decoupage Sheets allow you to add watercolor or some painting and these papers can be lightly distressed without damaging the paper.
Due to the printing process and the delicacy of the 18 lb paper there may be slight imperfections or variations in color in order to achieve the vibrant detail and colors on tissue paper.
JRV Stencil Brushes - The new JRV Stencil Brushes are made in the USA. Parts are imported from Thailand and then are assembled here in the USA. You can choose from four brush sizes: 3/8", 1/2", 1" and 1 1/4". The handles have a dark walnut stain with matte lacquer and a chrome logo. The synthetic bristles are dense and made to last for all stenciling needs even when creating raised stencils with textured mediums.
