Collection: Our Story, Commitment & Legacy Footprints
Our Story
Hi, I’m Terri Stephens, a mixed-media artist, living in Louisiana. At Morning Dewdrops, we believe everyone is born to create. As Albert Einstein once said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” This quote became my permission slip to embrace creativity in all its forms—from repurposing vintage finds with DIY Paint to exploring the gentle meditations of textile art, stitching, botanical dyeing, and the layered expression of art journaling.
Like many creatives, I’ve faced fear and self-doubt. My turning point came 15 years ago when I read Oliver Wendell Holmes’ “The Voiceless.” One line pierced my heart:
“Many people die with their music still in them.”
I refused to let that be my story, so I started Morning Dewdrops as a blog—just a whisper of an idea. It’s grown into a community, a studio, a platform, and a movement that encourages others to explore “The Art of Doing.”

Our Commitment
“We create moments in time before it runs out.” – Terri Stephens
Whether you're just starting your journey, Morning Dewdrops is here to inspire you. You’re not too late, too old, or too inexperienced. You’re just in time.

May our stories, projects, and community inspire you to recreate, refresh, and redefine what creativity means in your life.

“…Out of the womb of the morning will spring forth your young creating anew who are as the dew...”
(my interpretation of Psalm 110:3)

🌟 Our Legacy Footprints
At Morning Dewdrops, we believe the true legacy we leave behind is shaped not just by what we create—but how we create, who we uplift, and how we care for the world around us. These are our guiding footprints—woven into every thread, brushstroke, and story we share.
🌿 The Creative Footprint – Recreate, Refresh & Redefine
Our content is rooted in slow living and sustainable creativity. You’ll find stories and tutorials on:
- Mixed media & art journaling
- Fabric dyeing with DIY Paint
- Textile arts & hand stitching
- Vintage-inspired palettes & home décor
- Beeswax candle making, fiber art & herbal bliss
We celebrate imperfect beauty, quiet craft, and the joy of creating by hand because being creative is self-care; it's a balance and belonging.
🤝 The Community Footprint – Support & Collaboration
We shine a light on handmade goods, small business owners, and community artists. Look for interviews, collaborative stories, and American- and Canadian-made products that inspire and support mindful living.
🌎 The Cosmos Footprint – Eco-Friendly Living
Morning Dewdrops stands for thoughtful, sustainable choices. From supporting bee farms to encouraging organic practices, we advocate for protecting what nurtures us—our planet, our families, and ourselves.
